Support DC Prep

In its first ten years, DC Prep grew from a single middle school into the highest-performing network of elementary and middle charter schools in Washington. During our second decade we will expand to ten schools, triple student enrollment, and have graduated more than 950 8th graders who are prepared academically and socially for a successful future.

As the highest-performing network of charter schools in Washington, DC Prep is dramatically changing the life trajectories of children in Washington. And we’re doing it by creating excellent schools that provide an outstanding education, emphasize rigorous academics and character development, and ensure that graduates have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for success in top-tier high schools, college, and adult life.

As a charter school, DC Prep receives a per-pupil allotment from state and federal sources for operational expenses. But there is a shortfall between these public revenues and the actual cost of a DC Prep education as we grow to serve more students in the years ahead. At scale, we will be large enough to operate our core educational program on public revenues alone. Until then, however, your financial support is critical. Please join us!
