 Lizzie Whitworth is a member of DC Prep's first cohort of Resident Teachers. Under the guidance of a skilled mentor teacher, she has developed her instructional repertoire and will assume the responsibilities of a 5th grade ELA/Social Studies teacher in the 2007-08 school year. "Everyone at DC Prep encourages you to keep learning, and keep learning HOW to be a better teacher. The ideas floating around here are amazing! Sometimes it is overwhelming because there is so much to learn and so much you can do better, but that is not necessarily a bad thing."
