Kindergarten - 3rd Grade

Elementary school is where children discover who they are as learners. These are the years when curiosity becomes confidence, foundational skills become lifelong habits, and students begin to see themselves as readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and leaders.

Bring the Joy

At DC Prep, we combine rigorous academics with joyful learning in classrooms where every child is known, challenged, and supported. Our youngest elementary students benefit from the consistency of a dedicated teacher team, while older students gradually transition to subject-area instruction that prepares them for the expectations of middle school.

Families remain active partners throughout the journey, receiving regular communication and celebrating every milestone as their child learns and grows.

Elementary Overview

Along the way, students build strong relationships with classmates and teachers, develop the confidence to tackle new challenges, and grow into thoughtful leaders.
