DC Prep uses data to celebrate our students' successes and to measure their progress. We post student work in classrooms and on our data walls from which teachers plan their teaching priorities. If you do not wish to have your child's work displayed, please contact Kenny Wang, Director of Special Projects, at kwang@dcprep.org. Thank you.

What our Teachers are Saying

“Just the other day, I overheard Diamond, a student who started the year far behind in Reading, and her classmate Nytalia arguing about which author was better: Roald Dahl or William Steig. This is why I am a teacher. It surprises me every day how flexible a child's mind can be. If given the opportunity and challenged in the right ways, all kids can take ownership of their learning and become passionate critical thinkers.”
Kylie Alsofrom, 2nd Grade Teacher (Literacy)
