DC Prep is an open-enrollment, tuition-free public charter school serving over 2,100 students across six schools in Wards 5, 7, and 8. Our mission is to bridge the educational divide in the nation’s capital. Our work is to pursue that no matter what happens.

The Need

DC Prep works to provide a high-quality academic and social-emotional education to our students, as well as strong professional and leadership development for our staff. In addition to supporting our six schools, we also work to support over 600 alumni as they leave our walls and go onto high school and college through our PrepNext program. All of this comes at a cost.

Your support helps us to provide the necessary staff to ensure a well-rounded education for our Preppies, professional development throughout the year, as well as a team of counselors to support our 600+ alumni as they continue their education.
