Enrollment Information

The enrollment cycle for the current 2016-17 school year is now closed at DC Prep. We will no longer be admitting new students off of the waitlist at this time.

Are you interested in applying to DC Prep in the 2017-18 school year?

DC Prep is participating in My School DC - a common application for nearly all DC-based public schools that opens on December 12, 2016. Visit My School DC for more details about the application process. Please note that DC Prep waitlists cannot be carried over from year to year: Families must re-apply to DC Prep via My School DC for a chance to be admitted through the lottery or to be added to the waitlist in 2017-18.

What our Leaders are Saying

“I wanted to be in a place where teaching and developing my craft would be valued, where I could work with like-minded people to change students’ lives for the better, and where I could someday have a larger impact on our city. The reasons I came are the same reasons I stay – I still love teaching, and I was right about the impact a school can have when like-minded people work together to help students’ change their lives! We are changing the face of education in DC.”
