The 2019-2020 My School DC application is open!

DC Prep is participating in My School DC - a common application for nearly all DC-based public schools. Visit My School DC for more details about the application process.
Please note that DC Prep waitlists cannot be carried over from year to year: Families must re-apply to DC Prep via My School DC for a chance to be admitted through the lottery, or to be added to the waitlist, for SY19-20.

We strongly encourage prospective families to stay connected with us to learn about any upcoming on-campus recruitment events learn more about our educational model, meet our team, and tour our beautiful campuses. In addition, we urge you to browse the DC Prep website to get a glimpse into our award-winning schools and to RSVP for upcoming events.

Upcoming Prospective Family Events

December – Drop-In Days – 30-minute sessions between 10AM & 2PM
Intimate campus tours every 30 minutes that will also include a Q&A portion where families can ask direct, more personal questions about their child, to really identify if DC Prep is the best fit for their child, and rank DC Prep at the top of their list. At the end of the 30 minutes/campus tour, families will have the opportunity to go to a designated area on-site to apply via My School DC if they wish to. Please look at the schedule below and RSVP using the links.
o Anacostia Elementary Campus – Tuesday, December 11th; 10AM – 2PM
o Edgewood Elementary and Middle Campus – Wednesday, December 12th;10AM – 1:30PM* 
o Benning Elementary and Middle Campus -Thursday, December 13th; 10AM - 2PM
*Wednesday dismissal is at 2PM. This session is ending earlier to accommodate dismissal. 

January – Open Houses – Two sessions: 10AM and 6PM

Prospective parents are invited to our campuses to see if DC Prep is the right fit for their child. The Open House includes a 15-minute presentation of an overview of DC Prep, a campus tour, a classroom visit, a Q & A session with a campus leader, and an opportunity to apply on-site! Each session is about an hour.

Anacostia Elementary Campus (AEC)

DC Prep's AEC opened in 2015 with PK3 and PK4,* and will "grow up" a grade each year through 3rd grade
*AEC will admit students in PK3-3rd grade for the 2019-2020 school year.
