Emma Bivona is DC Prep’s Managing Director of Middle Schools. She is a DMV native and joined DC Prep in 2016. Emma has served as a second-grade ELA teacher at Benning Elementary Campus, ELA Department Chair at Anacostia Elementary Campus, founding Assistant Principal of Academics and then Principal at Anacostia Middle Campus, and Director of Schools for the network. Prior to joining DC Prep, Emma served in a variety of leadership roles in Nashville, Providence, and DC. Emma has received principal training from the Relay Graduate School of Education’s National Principals Academy. Emma attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree and Lipscomb University for her graduate degree in education.
