Letter from the Principal

Dear BMC Community,

I am honored to enter my tenth year at Benning Middle Campus. This community is dear to my heart, and it has been a joy to watch our students learn and grow throughout the year. We are a community full of joyful traditions that aim to make learning cool and celebrate our students for both their growth and achievement.

It is important to me that each student feels seen, heard, and loved within our building. When this is true, students can feel safe to take academic risks and discover more about who they are as individuals. Our alumni continue to come back to Benning to share their successes, whether it be in high school or college, and I view this as the greatest testament to the work our community has done over the years to build a strong, welcoming space for students.

I am thrilled to create this space, alongside our full team, for all our students in the upcoming school year.

Ms. Harbaugh
