MCN Build is Lead Sponsor of 2014 DC Prep Back to School Bash

DC Prep, the highest-performing network of public charter schools in the nation’s capital, proudly announces that MCN Build is the lead sponsor of the 2014 Back to School Bash fundraiser on September 26, 2014.

“MCN Build played an instrumental role in the recently-completed construction project at DC Prep’s Benning site, creating a beautiful learning environment,” said Emily Lawson, DC Prep’s Founder and CEO. “The team’s generosity in support of the Bash – where every dollar raised directly benefits students and faculty – is deeply appreciated.”

The 4th Annual Back to School Bash will be held at DC Prep’s Edgewood Elementary Campus, the #1 elementary charter school citywide and a U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School. The event is made possible through the generosity of MCN Build as the “Most Valuable Preppie”-level lead sponsor, as well as DC Prep’s network of corporate partners, donors, and long-time supporters.

“Building our community is more than our motto,” said Rudy Seikaly, Founder of the MCN Group of Companies and CEO of MCN Build. “It’s more than what we do. It’s who we are.”

DC Prep is a network of charter schools – public and tuition-free – committed to bridging the educational divide in Washington and to ensuring that every child will be prepared academically and socially for a successful future. What our Teachers are Saying

“DC Prep is the one school I know where I can have colleagues who share my educational philosophy, an organizational structure that values and supports my instructional practice, and where I can also live the best family life possible given the demands of working at a no excuses school like DC Prep.”
